Current Challenge

We’re thrilled to launch our latest challenge – and this one is a BIGGIE! We need your help to invent something that could be a Guinness World Records Title Attempt.

We’re on the hunt for record-breaking invention ideas – they could aim to set a brand new record, or smash an existing one. Think biggest, fastest, tallest, longest – you get the idea! If it can be measured and is fun to watch, we want to see it.

The best record-breaking ideas are:
– Easily measured or counted
– Something someone else can try and beat later
– Fun and exciting!

Your invention could inspire a brand-new world record – so get your thinking caps on and get inventing! Challenge closes on 31st July. The chosen attempt will be brought to life by Ruth and Shawn – if it is successful, then it may feature in the 2027 edition of the Guinness World Records book.

This challenge is kindly supported by Accu and the Royal Commission for the Exhibition 1851.

Kids Invent Stuff recently visited our school, and their KS1 workshop was a huge hit! Libby’s energy captivated the children, inspiring them to explore STEM with creativity and confidence.

A highlight was designing imaginative inventions in a fun, supportive environment. The chocolate welding workshop was especially engaging, teaching basic engineering through a delicious hands-on activity!

The session sparked curiosity, encouraged problem-solving, and left students eager to learn more. We highly recommend Kids Invent Stuff to any school looking to inspire young minds and make STEM exciting!
